• Test History: Storing your recent Gross WPM, Effective WPM (EWPM), comprehension accuracy, and percentile rank so you can track longitudinal improvement.
• Personal Bests & Daily Streaks: Tracking consecutive active days and high scores.
• Reader Preferences: Preserving your selected color theme (Light, Sepia, Dark, OLED), font family (Serif vs. Sans), font size, and reading ruler state.

Note: This data resides exclusively on your local device. It is never uploaded to our servers, sold, or shared with third parties. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings or our in-app settings modal.

4. Log Files & Server Diagnostics

OnlineReadingSpeedTest.com follows a standard procedure of using log files provided by our content delivery network (CDN) and edge hosting providers (such as Cloudflare). The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.
